Vista 64 dual boot changing drive letter
I have XP on one drive and Vista on the second drive.. A copy of FSX on each drive / system. I mostly boot into Vista now. XP just for my accounting program. XP and another in Vista, they both are still on the same computer. My 64 bit Vista, will be on it's own hard drive, with it's own registry entries, etc.

I have had recent problems installing external hd's on Vista 64. I have run into problems with USB2.0 as well as eSATA. The drive will appear under the device the drive why the problems with Vista. I will addd that I have a dual boot machine XP/Vista64, so it is not a hardware problem with the computer. Any advice?

It would also help considerably if you specified the symptoms, the OS (XP, Vista, Linux etc) and some info about the hardware. the stairs :-( I've recently moved it to an AMD 64 X2 with 2GB without a problem and the dual boot OpenSuSE 10.2 64bit picked up the card and installed the necessary software to use it.
